Women's Padel Thrives at PadelX
Queen of The Court, PadelX's flagship women's padel event, has reached an inspiring milestone
in 2025 with more than 500 unique female participants since the program's inception. The weekly
tournament, held every [day] at PadelRush Riyadh, has evolved into Saudi Arabia's largest and
most vibrant women's padel community.
Launched in early 2024, Queen of The Court was designed to create a welcoming, competitive
environment where women of all skill levels could enjoy padel together. The format features fast-
paced, rotating matches that keep energy high while ensuring everyone gets substantial court
time. Players are grouped by skill level, making the experience enjoyable for beginners and
challenging for advanced athletes.
100"Queen of The Court has exceeded every expectation," said [Name], Community Manager at
PadelX. "We've watched friendships form, skills dramatically improve, and confidence soar. Many
participants told us they were initially nervous about competitive play, but the supportive
atmosphere makes everyone feel comfortable pushing their limits."
The event attracts diverse participants—from university students and young professionals to
mothers and retirees—all united by their love for padel. Many attend weekly, while others join
monthly or seasonally, creating a dynamic, ever-evolving community. The social aspect extends
beyond the court, with participants forming WhatsApp groups, organizing additional practice
sessions, and supporting each other's development.
Impact Beyond the Court
Queen of The Court's success reflects broader trends in Saudi women's sports participation. The
program aligns with Vision 2030's emphasis on active lifestyles and female empowerment
through athletics. Several participants have progressed from complete beginners to competitive
players, with some now participating in regional tournaments.
"I started Queen of The Court six months ago having never touched a padel racquet," shared
Noura, a regular participant. "Now I play twice a week, I've joined the PadelX coaching program,
and I've made friends I see both on and off the court. This event changed my relationship with
sports entirely."
The event's popularity has inspired PadelX to consider expanding the format to other clubs. Plans
are underway for potential Queen of The Court events in Jeddah and Dammam, pending facility
availability and community interest.
